A: I think we are going to be late.

B: Me too. I didn¡¯t realize that the roads would be like this.

A: It¡¯s because of the holiday. Everyone wants to leave town.

B: I completely forgot. We should have left earlier.

A: ____________________. There are four of us in the car, so we¡¯re allowed.

B: Sounds like a good idea. And that lane looks less busy.

At the beginning of a romantic relationship, everything is new and exciting, and you spend as many moments with your loved one as possible.

    (A) This lack of interaction can cause misunderstandings between the two of you. To prevent this from happening, commit to reconnecting with one another without any distractions for a set amount of time each day.

    (B) However, as time goes by, you may find that other obligations to work and family can get in the way of spending quality time together.

    (C) So, turn off the television, put your phones away, and do something that will give you a chance to hear each other¡¯s thoughts. Although it doesn¡¯t seem like much, sharing thoughts with your partner for only a few minutes a day is enough to keep your bond strong.

When criminal trials are undertaken to prosecute a suspect, a jury is established to determine guilt or innocence. In most places, people selected to be members of a jury in a federal court case can expect to be retained for several days or even weeks. Jury members usually receive a daily cash allowance to compensate for their services and are given hotel accommodations free of charge. Furthermore, jurors are entitled by law to be paid by their regular employer for days missed. The standard procedure is for jurors to arrive at the federal courthouse no later than 9 a.m. on weekdays and return to their hotel before 6 p.m. To ensure a fair trial, jurors cannot watch live television, read newspapers, or communicate via telephone. This requirement is meant to create a barrier between jury members and the outside world. However, following a trial, jury members are allowed to discuss the trial with whomever they wish.
